Massage Helmets

Following on from our previous item on the Insomnia Helmet, there are also numerous patents for head massaging devices which don't look like they'd provide a very pleasurable experience. A good example is the Massage Helmet.

In this, "A cranial massage helmet includes a plurality of resilient massage wheels mounted on its inner surface for application to the head of a user. The massage wheels travel along a number of tracks bonded to the inner surface of the helmet." Having all of those wheels rubbing against your head looks like it would be extremely uncomfortable, and certainly wouldn't help us to relax. In fact, the wheels look distressingly like mini pizza cutters.

The Relaxation Device looks even worse. To use this one, you need an accomplice to clamp it to your head to ensure a tight fit!

There are face massagers too, such as the Head Covering for at Least Lifting the Face of a Wearer. This one makes the user look like Hannibal Lecter!
